My August Glossyboxcame early this month, which made me happy. It was probably because Glossybox wanted to be sure that I got it in time for my birthday. That is SO thoughtful. Thanks Glossybox!
This was an amazing box too!!! I got not one, but two full size products, and three other really good size samples in addition to that!

Biolage ExquisiteOil Replenishing Treatment
$22.00 / 3.1 oz
As you probably know if you know me or read my blog regularly, you probably know that I love hair products. So obviously I was happy to get this one!
ExquisiteOil is a treatment suitable for all hair types to add softness and shine without weighing hair down, perfect for my fine but dense (and sometimes frizzy) hair. I tried this by sheer luck on a ridiculously humid day - it had just stopped pouring and the air felt like pure glue when I was walking from my car into the office in the morning. Aside from a few curly flyaways around my hairline (unavoidable, and also expected as I never use hair oil close to my scalp), my hair stayed smooth and shiny all day. And I didn't lose any volume, although that could have been the humidity working it's plumping magic. Overall, this was great, I would definitely buy the full size.
Ellis Faas Ellis Lips
Creamy Lips L102
$35.00 / 0.095 oz *Full Size Received
I received a full size(!) "creamy lips", which is a matte finish, but there are also milky lips (glossy finish) and glazed lips (just a touch of color) available. The color (l102) is a little dark for my personal taste, but it was very pretty and left my lips feeling soft. It lasted for a good few hours too! I am definitely intrigued and I might bite the bullet and buy myself the glazed lips!
Illamasqua Nail Varnish
$14.00 / 1.0 oz *Full Size Received
Another full size product! Yesssss.
When I opened this I was curious about how I was going to wear this color. I didn't think I could pull of a whole set of neon nails. But Hubbs loved the color and upon his prodding I tried it. I am in love! This polish is sooo shiny and lasts and lasts. And the color is really pretty on! I'm still wearing it now and I've gotten so many compliments!
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum
$48.00 / 1 oz
Can I start by saying that I got a 0.5 oz sample of this product - half of the full size - AND a coupon for a free 0.5 oz deluxe sample of the Ole Henriksen Truth Creme (moisturizer)?! That pretty much pays for the $48.00 price tag right there. Incredible.
This product claims to smooth wrinkles and fight environmental stressors while moisturizing and protecting the skin. I don't really have wrinkles, but I've been using this after a splash of cold water in the morning, under moisturizer, and my skin does feel very soft and supple. Over the past couple of weeks I've also noticed that it appears more plump and youthful. Love it!
Touch in Sol Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Base
$20.00 / 1.12 oz
See that price/size info just above the title of this one? I received a 1.06 oz tube, almost the full size (1.12 oz). Just wanted to point that out. :)
This is a pre-makeup primer that claims to moisturize and allow for a smooth makeup application. I was nervous that this would go on really heavy, but the gel absorbs really quickly. You actually forget that it's there. And it has a refreshing but very light citrus scent. Under makeup my skin felt great, I didn't get dry like I sometimes do with foundation. I usually only wear tinted moisturizer or BB Cream but I skipped this with those products. Overall, this product was a total sleeper for me - I ended up really happy with it and will continue to use it!
