Five.

Let's talk beauty.  Anyone who even remotely knows me knows that I love me some products.  I have my tried and trues, but I also love to try new things and see what's out there.  So today I want to share with you five of my favorites!

Soap & Glory The Righteous Body Butter
(buy here)
I freaking love this stuff.  I wish they made it in vats.  I would buy a vat.  It's so creamy and leaves my skin so smooth, but not greasy like a lot of other body butters that I've tried.  And the scent is incredible - it's woodsy, sensual, and somewhat warm, but not overpowering..  It's unbelievable.  I sit there smelling myself all day when I have it on.

You think I'm weird.  But you will try it and you will see.

beautyADDICTS Show Off Mascara

(buy here)
I'm super, super picky when it comes to mascara.  I want it all - curling, volume, length - and there are only a few mascaras that I've found that deliver.  This is one of them.  What I love most about this mascara is that it curls and fans out my lashes, with absolutely no clumping, so I get big, beautiful eyes and dark, glossy lashes with just a couple of swipes!

I've actually been asked numerous times if I was wearing false lashes - once even by my husband.  It's been this mascara.  Amazing.

Benefit Cosmetics Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in RSVP
(buy here)
This is one of my tried-and-trues.  I'm actually on my fourth jar of the stuff (and I have the fifth waiting and ready to go)!  This particular shade is a gorgeous, shimmery champagne and it is perfect for day, night, whenever, wherever.  I swipe it on with my finger for a sheer look, or layer (with fingers or a brush) for opacity.  And the formula is incredible - it really doesn't crease and it lasts for hours and hours.

I honestly do not know what I'd do with myself if Benefit ever stopped making this shade.

elf Shimmering Facial Whip in Pink Lemonade
(buy here)
I bought this when I was perusing Target one day, trying to hide from Hubbs so I could get some extra time in the makeup aisle.  It was $1.  That's right - ONE DOLLAR.  Being so inexpensive, I never expected it to be that great, but I was excited to try it anyway.  I ended up loving it!

I use this as a highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones, the arches of my eyebrows, and the bow of my lips.  The creamy formula blends well and leaves me with a pretty halo of sheer color.  And it lasts all day!  I feel like I have a pretty, ethereal glow when I wear it.

Josie Maran Argan Oil
(buy here)
This is a miracle product.  It's no wonder that argan oil is such a cult phenomenon right now.  I use it on my face to add moisture after an at-home facial, in my hair (both after the shower while hair is still wet, and as a treatment wrapped in a towel under heat for 30 minutes - 1 hour), and also to moisturize my cuticles.  I also suffer from bouts of eczema from time to time, and when I rub this on my neck, it soothes and heals so much more quickly than even a heavy moisturizer.

Happy Friday!  Enjoy your weekend :)

  19. Laughing about how you want a vat of that butter :) I'm going to have to try it! I'm so with you about Target- Chris can walk throughout the entire store, get what he needs, and I'll still be in the makeup aisles.

    Have a great weekend!
