Product Review: YSL Toning & Cleansing Micellar Water

I recently received a deluxe sample of Yves Saint Laurent Toning & Cleansing Micellar Water from Sephora.  This is a super gentle cleansing liquid claims to preserve the skin's natural moisture while dissolving makeup and impurities, leaving the skin soft and radiant.

I tried this in the morning before work, because at night I feel like I need a more thorough cleansing after wearing makeup all day.  I was a little hesitant to try it because I didn't want to strip my skin of moisture, but after reading more I learned that the YSL Toning & Cleansing Micellar Water contains glycerin to keep skin moisturized.  This sounded good to me so I gave it a go.

My skin felt so soft and supple after cleansing with a cotton ball (yup, that's it!), and not the least bit dry or tight.  I would definitely recommend this to anyone with normal or dry skin (my skin is combination-to-dry).

It is also fabulous while going from work to the gym - it removes makeup without stripping moisture and leaves my skin soft.  I like this product so much more than your traditional facial cleansing wipes, because I've found that it's much better at removing makeup and dirt.  I love it for a quick post-workout cleanse as well!

Although I'd prefer to just rinse my face with cold water in the morning, the Yves Saint Laurent Toning & Cleansing Micellar Water will be a mainstay in my gym bag from now on!
