December Glossybox

Well, it's that time again... Glossybox time!  My December box was truly amazing!

The December box was themed "Glamour, Glitz and Gloss," a perfect theme for the holiday season, and it contained some must-have essentials for glamming it up!

So let's take a look at what I got!

Ecru New York Cosmetic Hair Care Acacia Protein Oil
Forest Essentials Luxurious Ayurveda Moisture Replenishing Bath & Shower Oil
Heartland Fragrance Co. Bath Salts
Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protect Spray
Izzy Miyake Pleats Please Fragrance
Zoya Nail Lacquer
JewelMint Necklace (Bonus Item!)

Ecru New York Cosmetic Hair Care Acacia Protein Oil
$30.00 / 1.69 oz. Full Size
I applied the product to my wet hair and it left my hair soft and shiny.  I only used a small amount and did not add any other product, and it seemed to moisturize and condition really well.  It also claims to protect hair from heat damage, which is definitely an essential.  My hair tends to be much more sensitive to damage in the cold winter months, so it's nice to have added protection against the elements.

Forest Essentials Luxurious Ayurveda Moisture Replenishing Bath & Shower Oil
Madurai Jasmine and Mogra Scent
$22.00 / 6.8 oz. Full Size
I love oils when it comes to skincare, and this one did not let me down.  It scented my bath with an essence of jasmine, which is one of my favorite scents, relaxed me and left my skin soft and moisturized.  In the shower, I applied to my skin after cleansing with my regular body wash (as the directions on the bottle indicated), and again left my skin feeling smooth and well-hydrated.  A soft scent of jasmine lingered as well.

Heartland Fragrance Co. Bath Salts
White Tea Scent
$10.00 / 30 oz. Full Size
Epsom salts are fabulous for baths, and although I haven't had a chance to try this particular product yet, I'm sure it will do its job quite well.  The scent of white tea is very light and clean, not overpowering at all.  This will be perfect for a hot bath after a very cold and stressful day.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protect Spray
$23.00 / 4 oz. Full Size
I love Oscar Blandi products!  Love love love.  This spray claims to strengthen and protect hair from heat styling, enhance shine, and hold style.  I sprayed this in my hair prior to curling with a wand, and it absolutely held up to its expectations.  I was a bit worried that my hair would be dry-looking and tacky, but I was left with soft, tousled and shiny hair!  Oscar Blandi is quite the genius.

Izzy Miyake Pleats Please Fragrance
$92.00 / 3.3 oz. Full Size
This scent is described as "an effervescent, generous, addictive fragrance."  It was a bit strong for my taste when I first sprayed it on, but once it settled, the scent was actually very pretty and a little sweet.  This is definitely a fragrance for a girly girl who is happy and enjoying life.

Zoya Nail Lacquer
Storm
$8.00 / 0.5 oz. Full Size
Hands down BEST nail color for New Years Eve... ever.  And it's a great all-around party color otherwise!  The color is from the Zoya Ornate Holiday Winter 2012/13 Collection, and the color is black with multi-color glitter.  It is gorgeous!  I am a huge fan of Zoya polishes, too - they apply well and last longer than any other polish I've tried, plus they're formaldehyde free!

JewelMint Necklace
$29.99
This necklace is beyond gorg and it paired perfectly with my holiday party outfits!  What a fabulous treat - I never expected to receive a pretty necklace in my Glossybox!

  5. Thanks for the reviews! For some reason the Zoya polish I used chipped sooo quickly. I wonder if some shades last longer than others?
