I saw this post on Fashion CHALET this week, and it got me thinking. It's been awhile since I shared some random facts (you can find the last post here), and I thought my readers might want to get to know me a little better. Plus, it fit so perfectly well with my usual Friday posts, as I always title them, Five., and I'll be listing five things for each category.
Five Things You'll Find In My Bag
1. Kate Spade Wallet
2. Coach Card Case
3. iPhone
4. Pens (I'm obsessed with Sharpie Fine Point Pens)
5. A ridiculous amount of lipstick and gloss (hence the name of my blog)
Five Things You'll Find In My Bedroom
(I'm going beyond the obvious bed and various furniture here...)
1. Lots of pillows
4. Photo of Hubbs and me on our honeymoon
5. Stuffed donkey from Santorini
Five Things I've Always Wanted To Do
1. Fly over an active volcano in a helicopter
2. Visit Italy and France
3. Ski in the Swiss Alps
4. Own a home*
5. Open a clothing/accessories boutique*
*Coming soon!!!
Five Things I'm Currently Loving
1. Cooking dinner with Hubbs
2. Shoptiques
3. Cuddling with both dogs and the cat in bed before falling asleep
4. Carmenere Wine
5. The Bachelor
Five Random Quirks I Have
1. I am deathly afraid of crumpled napkins and tissues.
2. I can't ever take a napkin from the top of the stack. It always has to be a few napkins back.
3. I am a huge food snob.
4. I am also a huge beer snob (I only drink craft beers).
5. I actually dislike shopping in stores... I would much rather shop online.
Now it's your turn! What are your five things???

I am a bourbon snob and my bag contains copious amounts of gloss also! and yay for the *coming soon!
ReplyDeleteThese are great!! I might borrow this idea if that's ok. My fiance is a total beer snob, he drinks only craft beers as well. Oh, and I'm such a food snob too. :)
ReplyDeleteI hate shopping in person too!
ReplyDeleteI love that you have a stuffed donkey in your bedroom lol. And I with you on the preferring online shopping :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing :)

I laughed so hard at your napkin issues...they really freak me out too! I'd love to fly over an active volcano, what an awesome experience to brag to anyone with ears about.
ReplyDeleteYES to the Bachelor! And owning a home soon!!! YAHOOOO!
ReplyDeleteHah!! I also take a napkin from the back.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this shoptiques?? Did you just introduce something very dangerous to me?
Always fun to get to know you better- opening your own boutique sounds awesome!
ReplyDeletethese are GREAT, niki!! i'm the SAME WAY with napkins and tissues. GROSS. you don't know what's in them!! and girl, i know your dream is going to come true! i just know it!

Loving your list! I have never tried a Diptyque Candle before. I think i need to. xx
ReplyDeletei wouldn't say i'm a food "snob"... but after living in such a foodie-friendly place like jersey city and having dinner dates in NYC any night on a whim, it makes me laugh to think that a "fancy night out" used to be going to olive garden or red lobster!! equally-priced food is found in MUCH MUCH higher quality and authenticity at locally-owned, locally-sourced restaurants if you are brave enough to try them :) ...but i'm not a food snob because i still love my McD's and a good bowl of kraft mac-n-cheese :P
ReplyDeleteHola, muy guapa...feliz Año..un beso desde Murcia...
ReplyDeleteSo fun to get to know more about you! So exciting that the home and boutique are coming soon :) And I'd rather shop online too!

ReplyDeleteDARLING!!!!! I am so happy I came across your blog this morning! I was nodding at all of the things we have in common: coach card case and the obvious iphone, LOTS of pillows in the bedroom, I can't get enough of The Bachelor, and I LOVE Sharpie fine point pens - have them in every color. But then, but THEN you called yourself a huge beer snob. Girl, we are kindred spirits!!! I am the biggest beer snob. All of my friends call me the Beer Snob. Ahh! I am partial to wheats, but will try them all. Just don't give me a Bud Light or anything like it. It must be QUALITY. Eek! Loved reading this, happily folowing you! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteIt has always been my dream too to have my own clothing boutique so I'm so excited for you!! I can't wait to hear more about it :) Happy Friday!

Talk to me about being a beer snob! Is it bad that was on my list of things to do the past couple of years? I think I'm failing terribly! Any tips?
ReplyDeleteFlying over an active volcano is also something I want to do.
What a clothing boutique?? I want to hear more about that!! I am also addicted to sharpies - the pens and the ultra fine point markers. There is nothing better! I am dying at the crumpled napkin/tissue phobia. That is fantastic. I hope you never meet my dad! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Niki!

Classy with a Kick
I love this post! Might have to do this next week :)
ReplyDeleteCrumpled napkins? You strange lady you.
And yay for future house and boutique! How exciting
I love this post!
ReplyDeleteI can't get into the craft beer, but good Lord do I love sharpies.
I have issues with napkins too! Lol except it's that I can't throw them away if they are unused. I literally hoard napkins. It's a waste of paper to toss them haha :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post - love it! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting! I always thought a clothing boutique would be so fun to have!
I've gotten to where I really only want to shop online too. It is so much easier! But I do hit up local boutiques every now and then.

ReplyDeletelove this idea for a post and i really like that picture of you! you look fabulous :)
ReplyDeleteOoh I love the new design!!! I'm a huge food snob, too. I've only had fast food like twice in my life and thought it was gross. I like shopping online too, I really only like going to the mall when it's not busy like if I get a day off work. Otherwise, it's kind of stressful. I can't wait for you to open your boutique, it's going to be so exciting!
ReplyDeleteLove love love the new design, pretty lady!! It looks so good! Love this post.

ReplyDeletelove this. great post.

ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful weekend.
