| well hello there. |
Happy Friday! How was everyone's week???
I haven't wanted to talk about it, but losing the AFC Championship game to the Baltimore Ravens was devastating. I was nervous about the game, but positive that the Patriots were going to win. The last time this happened, I was with my dear friend Cassia, and I think she remembers my hysterics quite well to this day. Luckily I didn't have to face the Giants and Jets fans at work on Monday since it was a holiday. I'm grateful for that.
In happier news, Hubby and I have gotten pre-approved for a house and are starting the home buying process! We've come across some really great properties so fingers crossed!!!
And I've got five fabulous reads for you to check out this week!
1. Anna shared her favorite Spring 2013 trends, and I share many of her faves! I can't wait for spring to get here already!
2. Emma made the most delicious sounding Cinnamon Dolce Ice Cream. My next ice cream attempt will definitely include this recipe!

3. Whitney shared some fun facts about herself that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. And we share an obsession a love for hot sauce. My girl.
4. I pretty much fell out of my chair giggling when I read Raven's post about her husband giving their son a trim because he wanted his hair out of his eyes. Just... read it.
5. Jamie's Nutella S'mores Bars made me hungry. When aren't I hungry?! But seriously, these look amazing.
Enjoy your weekend!!! xo

Aw cute dog!!
ReplyDeleteMy team sucked this year :( So at least your boys made it to playoffs! Nobody can say anything bad about that!
But you still have ME as a Giants fan!
ReplyDeleteMy Steelers were out early on. It was nice not to be a nervous wreck and just watch the playoffs. But I feel your pain...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the house news! Can't wait to see what you get.
Very excited for you and the house buying process! It's a lot of work so just remember to have fun with it :)
ReplyDeleteOn a separate note ~ I am sorry that your team will not be playing against my team in the Superbowl ... so, since your team got knocked out you should totally root for the 49ers now!! Haha..

Good luck with the house hunt - it'll be fun! And I an a Giants fan - I was way more thrilled with the Falcons losing considering their killed my Giants earlier in the season.(And is that your pup? Adorable!)
ReplyDeleteBe careful not to over extend in your home buying process, remember realtors and loan agents lie for a living and are NOT your friends! I cannot imagine giving a rats *&% about any sport game. The rule in my house is no sports allowed (EVER) and you would have to pay me a million dollars to go to a game where people grunt, act stuipd, dress in silly tight uniforms and knock each other around on a field yet make millions of dollars. NOT a fan Yuck.
ReplyDeleteWow, I like this post, the best way to get to know other bloggers. Thanks for sharing and all the best with the house :)
