I love the scent of lavender. It's one of my favorites. I have it in candles, hand cream, body cream, and I even use lavender essential oils for fragrance, skin care, and relaxation. So, when the opportunity came along to try Travertine Spa's lavender scented Botanical Body Wash, I couldn't resist.
In the shower, this body wash gave a rich, luxurious lather. The lavender scent was definitely present without being overpowering, and made me feel like I was in the spa. I could feel the essential oils nourishing and softening my skin as I washed.
Out of the shower, my skin felt soft and hydrated. I felt good too - peaceful and relaxed. Lavender has such a great aromatherapy benefits, especially for me being so high strung, and the lavender essential oil used in this body wash is pure, undiluted Bulgarian lavender, which makes it so much more special.
All in all, I really love this body wash. I can truly say that it is the best, most luxurious body wash I have ever used (and that's a bold statement - I try a lot of different products)! And, it's cruelty free, which is so important.

ReplyDeleteI love lavender and use the esssential oil frequently. It is restful to make a lavender sachet and soak the lavender in the essential oil, when dry put it in your pillow. It makes you fall right asleep. I have been to lavender farms for harvest of fresh lavender which is really an amazing experience. Planting it by your front door is good luck to! Thanks for sharing a cruelty free product. We all need to be cruelty free only!
