I have been dreaming about this bag at night, and not in the figurative sense. I actually woke up this morning from a vivid dream about my new PS1, and then realized that I don't actually own it.
Sigh.

I get totally obsessed with things, too, and can't stop thinking about them! Currently, it's everything from Johnny Was. I have a coworker who is always wearing these beautiful tunics and cardigans and stuff from there, and it is SO SWOON-WORTHY!

Oh girl, I'm right there with ya. Haha. That is a beautiful bag. I've always been obsessed with Chanel bags.. but that is just so unattainable. And then of course there's Celine... sigh. Why do they have to be so damn expensive!

ReplyDeleteRight now I'm loving high tops. I take a cardio dance class (body jam) and they really dance a lot better since the bottoms are flat and don't grip the floor. I already have one pair, but I"m dying for more!

You'll get the bag, you'll see!!!! My biggest recent obsession is wedges. I just bought two pair of "lunar" wedges. They have to be 5 or 6 inches.....and they are comfortable! I beat my clothing and bag, shoe obeession after watching my sister in law spend more on bags, shoes and clothes then they could afford. She would carry bags that were way over their budget (hundreds!) and they finally lost their house. When they moved she had boxes and bags of bag after expensive bags but no house. How stuipd I thought is that. I put myself on a zero shopping rule for one year and do not miss spending the money on bags, shoes or clothing at all. I shop from my own closet and put the money away. I can honestly say that expensive bags no longer appeal to me and seem such a silly waste of money.
ReplyDeleteI think that's terrible that your sister lost her house. I'm really sorry to hear that. I think it's always important to keep in mind what we can and can't afford and never live beyond our means. Good for you for sticking to your no shopping rule!
