We close on our house today!!! I am officially a homeowner! Woo hoo!
It's been a busy week, packing up the last of our belongings and making the final move to Massachusetts. It's also been a pretty big spending week - since we ordered a king-sized headboard, we figured we should probably go ahead and get the mattress/boxspring, frame and bedding to go along with it. And I bought my chair for my personal office/dressing room (above)!
IN LOVE. Can I just tell you how many chairs I looked at prior to this? No chair compares. And I got it at HomeGoods for a great deal! Holla!
Hubby is just happy it's in my girl room. The conversation went somewhat like this:
Niki: "Babe! Did you see my text??? Do you love it???"
Wes: "Did you buy it?!"
Niki: "Yes! I stared at it for like 4 hours like you do, then left and went back and still really loved it so I bought it!"
Wes: "Um... where is it going? I am not putting that in any mutual spaces. I am going to get so much crap from my friends if you put something pink in this house."
I love my Hubby and I know his friends will have a heyday if this was in, say, the living room. Although....
Kidding. Kind of.
We also did some couch shopping, but haven't made a solid decision yet.

Anywho... I'm done with the home decor stuff (for now). But not done with the shopping! I ordered these sandals straight from the Greek Islands and they arrived this week. I die.

I don't understand how cats think curtains are an invisible cloak... my parents' cat does the same thing. Silly nerds.
Now, I have to take a moment to give a shout out to my sweet, beautiful and bride-to-be friend, Cassia, whose birthday is this coming week! Love you Cass!!
No Cassia collage is complete without adding some Ham up in that shiz. Ham, as in Cassia's dog. I love that little meatball!

That chair is fabulous and I always debate and then go back and get it and I think I need a pink chair but hubby would veto it in "our space" :)

ReplyDeleteA Homegoods just opened semi-near me yesterday and I am dragging my hubs there this weekend because I've been waiting forever. I literally squealed when I saw it on the news last night. I know, I'm kinda lame like that:) The chair is amazing. Also love that your cat does the curtain thing. Mine will have his whole tail end sticking out and think he's in stealth mode. BTW, can't wait to see your Messy Project!

Have you ever shopped at Boston Interiors for furniture? It's our absolute favorite place. They have an outlet location, which is awesome. :)

Your hubby sounds like my boyfriend. We don't even live together and he's already told me no girly colors in our bedroom. Ay yiyi haha but I DO love that chair! It would be perfect for a blogging nook/office or a vanity!
