I snapped the above photo with my iPhone last week, when I saw how cute Chester was cuddling with his Dad. I didn’t even realize that the Hubbs was looking at Chester, smiling, when I took the photo. It made me so happy to see that I had captured such a sweet moment in time.
Wes is probably going to kill me for posting this, but it was so sweet, I couldn’t help it!
This week was a mix of fun and getting down to business. I’d call it a healthy mix, but it was much more “getting down to business” than fun. Although the fun parts were quite fun, I have to say.
Last Saturday, I attended the “Wicked Good Burger Experience” at Stonewall Kitchen Cooking School. It’s a class taught by Chefs Chris Hart and Andy Husbands in honor of their new cookbook, Wicked Good Burgers (a follow up to Wicked Good Barbecue). I got some great insider tips and advice for making kickass burgers at home (the lamb burger was my favorite), and they topped it off with the most delicious salted caramel frappe of life.
Otherwise, school is really kicking my butt. I’ve spent the majority of my free time this week on studying and homework. Not the most fun I’ve ever had, but I have a 4.0 GPA in my MBA program so far and I’ll be damned if I let anything change that.
