With my second wedding anniversary coming up (February 4th!), I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with ideas for a gift. Since the hubbs and I are following the traditional anniversary gift guide, this year’s gift must be cotton oriented.
Cotton is a tough one in my opinion! I’m not in love with the idea of giving each other clothing for our anniversary, because naturally that’s what first came to mind (actually, more specifically – or randomly – it was socks)… so I really had to do some digging around to find some great gift ideas in this category. Here are a few of the ideas I’ve come up with so far:
I just love this pillow! It would be a perfect addition to the throw pillows on our bed.
Say what you will, but since buying my first set of high thread count sheets as a gift to myself after graduating college and getting my own place, nothing else will do. It is my opinion that we can never have enough luxurious sheet sets!
How could I not include a Burberry trench?! I won’t get it, but it doesn’t hurt to add it to the list…
It’s a luxury candle that smells like cotton – that counts, right?!
Heck yeah I included a hammock. Hammocks are awesome.
Even though it’ll be February and an outdoor picnic is kind of out of the question, this would be a cute set to have for the warmer months!
Luxury robes were one of the first things I thought of when I thought of cotton (after socks, of course). I love the feel of a super soft, super weighty robe when I’m at a high-end hotel or spa. So, why not get his and hers robes as an anniversary gift!
