I’m loving bright nails lately! I don’t know if it’s the complete lack of sun or any type of warmth for what seemed like forever, or the recent warm weather and a mini vacation I’m looking forward to (or both), but whatever it is, I’m all in!
OPI Toucan Do It If You Try nail polish is part of the Spring 2014 Brazil Nail Lacquer Collection. It’s a bright coral with strong orange tones. It just screams sunshine and beach to me. I’m obsessed!
The formulation of this polish is pretty thick and opaque. One coat was almost perfectly opaque but just the slightest bit streaky. With a second coat, it reached creamy coral-orange perfection.
I’ve been wearing this polish for 6 days as I type this, and I’ve only experienced some minor wear. There hasn’t been any major chipping or peeling – that’s pretty darn good!
It’s much shinier than it translates in these photos as well. I’m unsure why the polish looks so dull here, but even 6 days later it’s holding a nice shine.
OPI Toucan Do It If You Try is available for $9.00 at Ulta.
