I’ve been so into bright, summery nail colors lately that I thought it would be a nice change to paint my nails a pretty pastel shade. I recently found this polish in a box that I finally decided to unpack from the move into our house (over a year ago – eeek!) and decided it was time to give it a refresh!
Zoya Kendal nail polish is a pastel lavender cream that applies with complete opacity. This lavender polish falls to the beige spectrum rather than grey, which I feel makes it wearable year-round, in my opinion. (I typically only wear grey-based polishes in the cooler months.)
This polish did chip on me after about three days. But pastel polishes in general seem to chip more quickly for me than other polishes. It could just be me! But other than that, I really loved the shade and the wearability of this polish – although it’s technically a purple, I found that it complimented any outfit nicely and worked for both casual and formal occasions.
I can also see that my broken ring finger really stands out in these photos! That was from a flag football accident from oh… 8 years ago… and I kinddd of neglected to go to the doctor until it was too late. So, I live with it. Some days it looks and feels worse than others (and apparently this was one of those days)! But enough about me…
