We all know I love a good lip product, and MAC lipsticks are among my favorites. Since I’ve tried so many, I thought it would be fun to share my five favorite MAC lipsticks. These are my tried and true standby MAC lipsticks. The ones that I just cannot see myself being without at a given moment.
MAC Snob (Satin)
Ahhh MAC Snob. I love this shade. This is a cool, creamy lilac pink that saturates the lips with opaque color. I love it mostly in the Spring and Summer, but it’s a nice refresher from the deeper hues of the Fall and Winter months as well. The formula is just slightly drying, but I find that a good lip conditioner underneath helps to keep lips hydrated.
MAC Myth (Satin)
Although Myth can wash me out when I’m more fair, it’s a gorgeous shade for when I have a bit of a tan. It’s a light, beigey nude with just a slight pink tone, so it’s definitely not for everyone, or every skin tone. But I recommend testing it out – if the shade works for you, it will quickly become a favorite nude lipstick, for sure! I also love it to nude out my lips when I want more of a pop from my gloss!
MAC Girl About Town (Amplified)
This one is an Amplified Cream Lipstick, which I find to be a super creamy and a bit more longwearing. The formula is opaque and the color saturation is in-sane! And the shade! It’s a gorgeous fuchsia with blue undertones that gives the perfect pop of color when I need it. It’s the perfect way to brighten up a bad mood or a dreary day!
MAC Ruby Woo (Retro Matte)
This is the perfect classic red. The formula is matte, which can be a bit drying, but as I mentioned in my description of Snob, a good, long-lasting balm underneath will keep the lips hydrated!
MAC Peach Blossom (Cremesheen + Pearl)
Peach Blossom has officially replaced my longtime favorite, MAC Angel (which I still love) as my go-to, everyday lip shade. I recently spoke about it in my October Beauty Favorites post and as I mentioned in that post, I’ve been wearing it constantly. It’s a peachy nude formulated in MAC’s ‘Cremesheen’ finish, which is slightly sheer with a somewhat glossy finish.
So tell me, what are your five favorite MAC lipsticks???
