I’m just going to blow the whole review for you right here and now…
Favorite. Polish. EVER.
Let’s start from the beginning though, in case you’re interested in knowing a little more about this polish and how it actually applied…
Victoria, Victoria Beckham x Nails Inc. nail polish in Bamboo White is part of a nail polish collaboration between Victoria Beckham and Nails Inc. There are two polishes in the range, including this one (Bamboo White) and a bright, reddish-orange shade called Judo. I can’t speak to Judo because I don’t have it, but I can say that Bamboo White has been on my nails since I opened up my little Sephora package that contained it.
If you’re a sucker for great packaging like I am, you’ll love the packaging of this polish. The jar is covered in matte black, with the color peeking out at the sides. Super classy.
The application is fantastic. The brush is huge! I shouldn’t say huge, because a huge brush would make a mess. The brush is big enough to cover almost the entire nail, so it provides an almost foolproof application! As with any pastel or white nail polish, this one does apply a little bit streaky in the first coat, but much less streaky than any other light polish I’ve tried. The second coat brings the polish to perfect opacity.
And this SHADE, you guys! The shade is beautiful. It’s a very, very light nude-pink cream, just bordering on off-white. It goes with absolutely everything and since it’s neutral, would work on many different skin tones.
As for wear-time, the formula is spectacular. After one week, I barely had any wear at the tips at all. For the record, with many polishes I’ve tried, if they haven’t chipped after 7 days, I usually experience at least some noticeable wear at the tips. Not so much, here. It took a full 10 days for this nail polish to start showing signs of wear, and I have my hands in water all the time, whether it’s in the bath almost every night, or constantly washing baby things in the sink. I ended up taking it off after a full two weeks, and then reapplied it and I’ve been wearing this application for a week now, with, again, no chips or wear.
So, yeah, sorry for the spoiler, but suffice it so say I’m in love. And I’m going to keep re-applying until I get sick of it.
