Anese is a new skincare company that just launched on January 25 with their Hydrating Body and Hair Elixirs. To celebrate and promote the launch, the company recently reached out to me and offered to send me one of the new elixirs in the scent of my choice to try out. After doing a bit of research into the brand and the product, I accepted. The scent selection sounded amazing, and I love that the Hydrating Body and Hair Elixirs are labeled as “hydrating” and that they’re multi-purpose (for body and hair).
Anese Hydrating Body and Hair Elixir is made with plant-based, natural ingredients that work to moisturize and soothe the skin. Anese products are vegan, paraben, peptide and herbicide-free, and never tested on animals. And they’re mixed right in the Anese lab in Los Angeles, CA.
I received the Anese Hydrating Body and Hair Elixir in the scent, Smells Like Queen Spirit (I love the company’s sense of humor when it comes to naming their scents). Smells Like Queen Spirit is a blend of orange blossom and vanilla – right up my alley. And it smells phenomenal!
Some of the other scents available include coconut neroli, white marble, almond sandalwood and marshmallow pine, and they have fun names like, “Bless this mess” and “Don’t be sorry, be sexy.” Love!
I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with it. It leaves my skin soft and nicely fragranced, it’s non-greasy. Although I do need a heavier moisturizer for my body on a day-to-day basis, this is perfect as a lightweight, spray and go, extra bit of everyday hydration with a gorgeous scent.
Also, as the name implies, it is AMAZING as a hair mist. I love to spray it onto the ends of second or third day hair to freshen it up and add some hydration back in. It’s so lightweight that it doesn’t weigh down my hair or make it greasy. It just adds softness back into the ends, and of course, leaves my hair nicely scented.
The Hydrating Body and Hair Elixir retails at $22.00 (plus free shipping!), but you can get $5 off your order with the code nikianese!
