From the day I found out I was pregnant with Noah, I promised to keep him safe and provide him with the utmost care and comfort. This little boy is my everything, and I vow to do just that for the rest of both of our lives.
The below photo of Noah holding onto my finger with his tiny hand always reminds me of this promise I made to him, to care for any comfort him and to always, always keep him safe. This photo is framed on my nightstand and I also keep a digital copy on my phone so that I have it with me wherever I am. The way he’s holding onto me reminds me how much he needs me, and makes me want to be the very best mother I can be. My little boy has grown, and will continue to grow so much more, and one day he may not want to hold my hand (in public, at least), but this photo will continue to remind me of the promise that I made to him.
Thank you so much to Alyssa Ritter Photography for capturing this precious moment.
Although providing my baby with the utmost safety, care and comfort is on an overall general level, there are little, everyday things that aid in this as well.
He has a favorite blankie and stuffed dog that he never seems to be without at naptime, bedtime, or anytime he is feeling the need for an extra cuddle or comfort from something besides mom or dad. It’s so sweet how much he loves these two objects, and it comforts me to see how much comfort they give him.
We also love the care and comfort that Pampers Premium Care Diapers provide to Noah. These diapers offer 5-star skincare and they’re the best of the best in terms of quality. With ultra-breathable material inside and out and extra absorb channels to keep him dry, including a unique, absorb away liner and a very helpful wetness indicator to let us know if it’s time for a change, Pampers Premium Care Diapers give me confidence that Noah is cared for and comfortable throughout the day, or even a long night. They’re hypoallergenic too, which is so important to us as Noah has had problems with major diaper rash in the past.
Noah also trusts Pampers Premium Care enough to put on his beloved stuffed dog!
And now that we have another baby on the way, I vow to provide this little boy with the same safety, care and comfort that I promised with Noah. These kids mean the absolute world to me, and they deserve nothing less.
Did you make a #MothersPromise when you had your baby(ies)? What was your promise? I’d love for you to share with my readers and me in the comments below.
This post was created in collaboration with Pampers and Walmart; however my opinion is ALWAYS 100% honest and my own.
