I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and it’s time for another pregnancy update!
Every few years I like to revamp the decor in my home. I find that this keeps my home feeling fresh and makes a room feel like new. Lately, I’ve been considering redecorating the master bedroom suite and while perusing various bed and bath linens and decor, I was contacted by Frette, a luxury linens and home furnishings brand, to collaborate with them on a post. The timing couldn’t have been better! Although Frette‘s products are the utmost in luxury, I quickly found myself dreaming of the ultra soft linens and luxurious, unique decor and imaging how they would look in my own home.
Historically, Frette linens have been used at the altar of St Peter’s Basilica and the dining car of the Orient Express. These luxury linens have also been found on the beds of over 500 European royal dynasties. Today, you’ll find Frette products in some of the most prestigious hotels, including The Peninsula, as well as in the most discerning of private homes, yachts and even aircrafts. More about Frette’s heritage can be found HERE.
I created this post as inspiration for a luxury master suite revamp, around a palette of crisp white, navy and gold, and of course using linens, decor and loungewear from Frette.
The Frette website also features an informative buying guide, with information on the various fabrics and fillers, bed styling, and care for Frette products.
Additionally, Frette carries a great selection of ultra-luxurious sleepwear and loungewear for both women and men!
I will note that Frette is quite expensive. However, if you’ve got the money to spend, I highly recommend taking a look through the website. The clean yet innovative craftsmanship of Frette products is sure to appeal to a wide variety of taste levels.
This post was created in collaboration with Frette; however I would never promote a company or product(s) that I do not personally stand behind. You will always get my 100% honest opinion, collaboration or not.
My bag of empty beauty products was majorly piling up, so it was due time I sat down and reviewed them all!
In case you’re new to “beauty empties” posts or videos, I basically go through all the beauty products I’ve used up recently, give a review of the product and let you know whether I’d repurchase it.
I feel the most honest, true to life reviews come after having used a product up completely, so I personally love making these videos!
These days, I’m finding it pretty tough to get to the gym with a 15 month old in tow. On top of that, I’m ridiculously short on time. And, okay, I’ll admit it. I’ve been a little lazy in the workout department.
Maybe it’s the season – I absolutely hate winter and I get so lethargic when it’s cold outside. Or maybe it’s the sheer exhaustion from chasing around a 15 month old while also being pregnant. Whatever it is, I have an upcoming vacation that I need to prep for, so I’ve been searching for some great lazy girl workouts that will help me get vacation ready without expending a whole lot of effort. They do exist!
I’ve rounded up my favorite workouts, tips and hacks for the busy – or just plain lazy – girl via the slideshow below!
Heading out to dinner with the Hubs on a special occasion is always a great excuse to dress up a bit more than I normally would. Since Valentine’s Day is the ultimate couples’ night out, I love to wear pieces that are flirty and fun, a little bit glamorous but still girl-next-door.
When shopping around for something to wear to dinner this weekend, I put together two date night outfits based on the above as a little Valentine’s Day inspiration! I am all about the dressed-up casual look, so for my inspiration is based on exactly that. I chose a feminine, flirty dress for one outfit and a pair of great-fitting, white denim jeans for the other, but both fall into the realm of slightly dressy, slightly casual. Just how I like it.
